160 x 59 Ft Crane Barge For Sale. Hull has 9 transverse watertight bulkheads with 3 longitudinal bulkheads. barge framing consists of 3” x 4” angle iron for the bottom and 3” x 3” angle iron for the deck framing. The hull framing is 3” x 4”. The verticals and horizontals are 3” x 3” and 4” x 4”. The stanchions are 4” x 12” channel, and the transverse trusses are 4” x 12” channel. The bottom, deck and hull appear to be 3/8” plate steel. barge has a 35’ tall pedestal with a 4600S 3 crane sitting on top of it. The 4600 on the pedestal was operational until the boom gear in the aux boom hoist gave up. Boom never fell and we were able to lower it into its boom rest and that’s were it has sat since. We have completely taken the barge and crane out of service since then and have been using it as a mooring barge. Barge has 3 spud wells, 1 bow and 2 mid bodies. It has a 10k internal fuel tank in the middle of barge, 2- 500 gallon lube oil tanks under deck and an abandoned black water tank under deck as well for an abandoned toilet system that was removed when we purchased it. As for the deck of the barge, we have replaced the stern plating and angles a couple years ago, we doubled over all existing deck forward of crane house to the bow spud house, the decking under the lean too you see in pictures is still in rough shape and needs to be repaired.
